eCommerce Marketing Specialist Job Description:

This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to start or further their career in the exciting area of eCommerce Internet Marketing. The ideal eCommerce Marketing Specialist for EDGE Tech Corp possesses a marketing degree or one to two years experience in the marketing field, as it relates to the Internet. A can-do attitude is a must! The purpose of this position is to grow profitable sales for the EDGE Tech Corp eCommerce website through various online marketing campaigns and promotions.
Essential Job Functions:

The eCommerce Marketing Specialist will have responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:

• Discover opportunities for obtaining links from external websites
• Identify and manage sponsorship opportunities with complementary websites, blogs, and organizations
• Identify and coordinate opportunities for online product reviews
• Develop website content such as informational pages, how-to guides, product copy, and other helpful material for online customers
• Help in the creation and execution of promotional email campaigns
• Manage affiliate program through reporting, recruitment, and relationship management
EDGE’s eCommerce Marketing Specialist will ideally have experience in and possess the following skills and/or abilities:

• Good understanding of marketing principles
• Exceptional writing and editing skills
• Complete multiple tasks effectively and efficiently
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal, organizational, and time management skills
• Self-motivated, with ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
• Technical writing, eCommerce, search engine optimization, and affiliate program experience all pluses
