Qualifications are: BUZZ MARKETING is looking for an ambitious and accomplished Marketing Contractor to manage high-profile creative engagements and promotions with the world’s foremost advertisers. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in client services, promotional activities and project management of online creative and technical deliverables. The Marketing Manager will be a key player in all phases of creative production; including program scoping, asset gathering, creative reviews, final delivery of both online and offline media and reporting and analytics. The Buzz Marketing Contractor will be asked to represent the company to itsclients in both written communications, and in client meetings. Responsibilities The Buzz Marketing Contractor will be responsible for the on-time delivery of microsites, events, grass roots efforts, promotions, entertainment marketing and co-branding partnerships for Clients key advertisers.
Specific responsibilities include: •Interfacing directly with internal and external creative and technical teams, internal marketing, product management, engineering and PR staff.•Managing and owning the entire Buzz life-cycle: concept ideation, planning, sales cycle and co-marketing partnership development (as relevant), some event execution and results/findings/business analysis.•Managing, directly or indirectly, in-house and outsourced staff for on-line creative. Source vendors as necessary.•Maintaining a master schedule (across all open projects)•Maintaining and communicating project schedules•Clear articulation of client requirements to creative and technical teams•Internal feedback on all creative and technical deliverables•Client relationship – day-to-day point-of-contact on creative deliverables•Client presentations•Aggregation and delivery of client feedback to internal creative and technical team•Budget management (of both internal resources and external expenses)•Support of Team, top-line revenue targets•Travel as needed to sell-through and execute partnership programs
Skills: Coordinate Press Releases, Project Management, External Presentations, Verbal and Written Skills, Internal Presentation, Web Content Management, Invoice Processing and Management, Web Marketing Strategy QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have the following required experience: •Minimum 3-5 years experience in project management, agency account management or in a marketing role•Team builder: can easily bring people together from different backgrounds, skills and reporting structures and create a coherent, cross-functional team•Has the ability to be creative, quickly and strategically. Must have talent for translating an outlandish Buzz idea into a strategic, defined brand communication. Experience with creative development essential.•A strong understanding of the current Internet ecosystem, Social Media, brand promotional activities and popular trends•Detailed yet flexible thinker: must be nimble enough to respond quickly to changing circumstances, but careful and detailed in thinking, strategy and execution.•Has an understanding of sales organization needs and basic marketing fundamentals such as marketing strategy, advertising basics and media terms, brand positioning and identity. The ability to strategize, pitch and sell advertising and marketing programs to clients.•Solid presentation/communication skills: ability to persuade others about what’s needed to get Buzz projects done•Extremely organized and willing to implement down to the smallest detail•Proficient in MS Project, Word, Excel, Powerpoint•Demonstrated knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of Flash, HTML, Javascript and other web-based technologies.•Experience with information architecture, wireframes, user interaction models•At least 3 years of experience with project or product management of online creative deliverables including websites, banner ads, email and promotions. Experience with offline elements such as print ads, collateral, event spaces and promotions helpful but not required.•Proven record of client management successes.•Ability to juggle multiple projects at a very fast pace.•Budget tracking.
