About the Digital Reputation Management Specialist Position:
We are looking for a driven, results-oriented individual with excellent interactive marketing experience to join our team as a Digital Reputation Management Specialist. This position is responsible for developing and implementing proactive online product communications and media relations programs that enhance awareness and acceptance of client brands/products in the online space. You will provide strategic interactive marketing counsel to assigned clients and oversee the activities of internal agency teams. Extensive experience in digital reputation management is a must, as is experience with industry-standard online monitoring platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Set strategic online communications strategy in coordination and collaboration with both agency and client teams
- Serve as trusted advisor, sounding board and business partner to client stakeholders, functioning as the expert on communications issues in the online media environment and perceptions of the industry and its key players
- Work closely with internal agency teams to develop product go-to-market plans, including product positioning and brand strategy, including PR development, execution and roadmap
- Assure that the client has a proactive external and internal digital communications approach to positively influence perceptions
- Serve as an expert in all interactive/online communications outlets such as forums and blogs, podcasts etc., to help reach strategic client objectives
- Work with internal agency teams on design and implementation of product marketing materials, including packaging, advertising, web site information, display vehicles and promotional information
- Work with Account Services team to develop in-depth case studies, which showcase client product successes.
- Participate in creation of thought leadership materials, client presentations, executive presentations, white papers, contributed articles, etc.
- Work with multiple sources of data and use analytics tools to measure and report results of marketing campaigns and identify new opportunities to grow the business
Requirements:
- 5-10+ years marketing and/or PR experience, with minimum 5 years in interactive marketing
- Familiarity with major Brand Monitoring platforms, including Cymfony, biz360, Nielson BuzzMetrics, BuzzLogic, and/or MotiveQuest
- Experience in marketing communications consulting with a focus on digital advocacy and/or digital influence
- Experience developing and/or managing word of mouth campaigns
- Exceptional organizational and planning skill with extreme attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task many projects simultaneously and work effectively within a fast-paced environment
- Must be assertive, highly motivated and have strong communications skills
- Must have client facing skills including preparing and delivering presentations
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Excel and MS Outlook
- Ability to work as part of a team, share idea and accept constructive reviews
- Must be goal-oriented and exhibit a high level of professionalism
