E-commerce Marketing Manager
Date: 2007-11-21, 12:16PM CST Shoebacca.com, the soon to be premier athletic footwear website, is looking for a Marketing Manager to drive all aspects of marketing and advertising. We are in the process of launching our website and are looking to fill this key role with someone who has proven online marketing expertise. Experience in the apparel/footwear industry is preferred, but not required. Additional marketing experience with mail order catalog and brick and mortar retail is a plus.Job responsibilities include:• Develop brand image;
• Identify current and target customers and tailor marketing strategies accordingly;
• Manage website promotions, e-mail campaigns and other marketing activities;
• Oversee all analysis of marketing and advertising efforts (website traffic, click-thru, conversion, etc);
• Work with our SEM firm to both provide information for them to effectively manage their efforts and utilize information gathered from them to ensure that our operations are performing to maximize their SEM efforts;
• Assist with content management on www.shoebacca.com; and
• Assist in similar marketing efforts for affiliated operations.Job requirements are as follows
:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field;
• At least 7 years marketing experience, with at least 3 years working for an e-commerce company;
• Must have excellent interpersonal/communication skills
• Writing skills and attention to accuracy in printed text must be second to none;
• Ability to manage various tasks simultaneously and “roll up your sleeves” to complete tasks; and
• Previous experience utilizing an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to access data used in sales analysis.
