Women For Hire: Dallas Career Expo (March 25 | 10am-2pm)
Posted by karenses on March 19, 2008
It’s a week away….Are you ready?
The Women For Hire Dallas career expo is only a week away. We hope you’re excited and we want you to be equally prepared.

Great bag…check.
Terrific attitude…check.
Exceptional resume…?
Take time to make sure your resume is fresh and represents all of your best qualifications. You can view Women For Hire’s resume templates for guidance. If you think you need further help, visit one of the expert resume writers at this event for a COMPLIMENTARY resume critique.
Leave an outstanding impression.
When talking to recruiters and other attendees, you’ll want to leave them with something to remember you by in addition to your resume. Don’t have business cards? Take a trip to Staples, which offers business cards in an hour.
Don’t go it alone. Line up a friend to attend with you, but not just anyone. Select that professional gal pal who will psyche you up and encourage you to network. Don’t bring the naysayer who’ll hold you back.
Do your research. Take a look at the Dallas event page and check out which employers will be at the event. Visit their websites for background information. Wow the recruiters with your knowledge of their business needs.
Speaking of success stories…
