Interactive Project Manager (Slingshot)

Slingshot, LLC. seeks Interactive PM with 4+ years industry experience with 2 years specific to digital project management. (http://www.davidandgoliath.com/)• Assimilate information provided by account team and distill into a logical project plan (timing, resources & cost)
• Manage project plans that effectively utilize agency staff resources throughout the entire duration
• Manage resource capacity and allocations to prevent over-utilization
• Provide project updates to team members by providing updated progress reports on a weekly basis
• Liaison with account managers, art directors, copywriters, interactive producers, application developers, media team and client: provide progress reports on the project, ensure adherence to project scope and timelines, and facilitate exchange of pertinent project-related information between all team members
• Escalate issues – that threaten accomplishing project goals and meeting timelines – to the proper representatives and aid the team with implementing a resolution
What skills are needed?
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Microsoft Project, & Outlook
• Strong attention to detail – able to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Excellent people and relationship skills, desire to build relationships with agency groups and clients
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Demonstrate leadership abilities (able to lead a team, motivate, and foster a team environment – inspiring team to collaboratively do great work for our clients)
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and still meet deadlines
• Have managed and tracked projects from initiation through final completion/evaluation
• Proven record of successful implementation of various projects – preferably in both interactive and traditional media
