We have a challenging position for a Marcom Manager with at least seven years of relevant experience to join our team. The Marcom Manager will lead marketing communication activities including the development of communication strategies for new products, programs or services. The candidate will combine excellent understanding with keen abilities to produce attention-grabbing materials for a broad and varied audience. In addition the Marcom Manager will develop, write and manage content for the web and sales & marketing collateral. Ideal candidates for this marketing role will conduct themselves in an extremely professional manner, demonstrate a high level of initiative and strong attention to detail, and possess excellent organizational and written and verbal communication skills. This position requires strong project management skills.
The primary responsibilities are:
· Manage end-to-end, from concept to finished product, the production of outbound information materials
· Interact with Marketing and Sales teams, as well as partners and Product development teams, to research and develop outbound materials
· Manages small team and external agencies that create all company marketing communication materials, including packaging, trade show graphics, web content, advertising, collateral, flash demos, newsletters, product & lifestyle photography, and other assets as needed.
· Creates, maintains and communicates regularly Product Launch Schedule and Marketing plan working closely with Product Marketing, and Corporate Marketing colleagues.
· Research, develop, and write:
· Marketing collateral such as data sheets, case studies, white papers, backgrounders, and brochures
· Standardized sales and trade show presentations
· Copy for the corporate Web site
· Work with manager to maintain templates, source files, and production standards of materials
· Work with vendors for order fulfillment of finished materials in a timely manner and in appropriate quantities
· Acts as liaison between Product Marketing, Channel Marketing, Legal and Marketing Communications
· Strong working knowledge of brand development and creative process.
· Works across functions with key functional leaders and department heads.
· Maintains high quality standards and budgetary discipline.
· Travel 15-20%.
· Able to perform other essential tasks assigned.
Required Experience:
· 7+ years experience managing communications projects.
· Thorough understanding of brand management, channel dynamics and hands-on management of print production are also required.
· Proven track record of successful management of direct reports and agencies
· Successful track record in developing, managing and localizing components of marketing communications programs
· High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and work within specific timeframes
· Proven track record of managing successful marketing launches and campaigns Flexible, adapts quickly to change
· Strong interpersonal, negotiation and leadership skills
· Strong project and time management skills
· Strong written and verbal communications skills
· Able to work under pressure — set expectations, priorities and meet deadlines Ability to share ideas and contribute to a collaborative effort
· High degree of initiative
· Ability to work independently and with peers located in multiple cities and on multiple continents
· Extensive experience in working with Operations teams and print production vendors worldwide to produce consumer packaging
· Proficiency in and a perspective on the use of Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and other project management tools
· Ability to manage, coach and provide direction to others in an indirect reporting capacity
