Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and creative individual to manage Global 360’s online marketing properties and initiatives. Candidates should be passionate about Internet and email Marketing and are looking for a career opportunity that will allow them to be part of a first class team. The eMarketing Manager is responsible for strategic development and execution of online and email programs that increase overall brand awareness, drive traffic and sales, and grow customer relationships. This position will assist in defining, developing and managing Global 360’s corporate online programs, and ensure the company’s web presence and digital initiatives are tightly aligned with marketing objectives and strategies. In addition, the eMarketing Manager will ensure that Global 360’s programs are tactically executed with excellence and measured against objectives.
As the eMarketing Manager you will:
• Identify and develop opportunities for web-based communications to position the company and its products, grow new and existing client relationships and build brand awareness. Initiatives include, but are not limited to, e-blasts, Web site, Web 2.0 components, e-newsletters, online communities, social media, etc.
• Maintain effective synergy, collaboration, and communication with other members of the marketing team, Sales, Sales Management, Sales Operations, and outside vendors.
• Manage usability, HTML/Flash design, web pages, and email operations leveraging internal or external resources as needed.
• Guide search engine marketing programs (SEO,SEM), including organic and paid search programs, to increase online exposure
• Create measurable, cost effective email campaigns to maximize permissions-based opt-in marketing efforts.
• Initiate, own and build all email programs and promotions to increase email open rates and conversions
• Manage tactical execution of website design, navigation, data capture and content as well as ensure timeliness of updates to keep the site fresh.
• Provide analyzed monthly and quarterly reports on eMarketing and web site activity and use this information to improve performance
• Create interactive marketing strategy to increase online traffic and work with marketing and sales operations team to ensure seamless processing of web leads
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging interactive technologies and evangelize/prioritize their use within the company
• Resolve technical issues with website functionality, web forms, hosting, reporting, and databases. Primary interface with outside vendors such as programmers, and interactive designers.
Skills
• Minimum 5 years of online marketing related experience required.
• Strong working knowledge of Internet technologies including HTML and CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Macromedia Flash, and web graphics software
• Current working knowledge of (SEO) Search Engine Optimization ,(SEM) Search Engine Marketing and email marketing practices
• Knowledge of HTML e-mail including A-B testing, subscription management, eyetracking studies, e-postcard usage, and other evolving best practices.
• Experience working with leading marketing automation tools
• Demonstrated understanding of user design principles (e.g. color and font usage, website usability, navigation and best practices).
• Proven ability to obtain and retain customers through effective web-based strategies and tools
• Ability to analyze and understand usage and conversion data
• Demonstrate strong multi-tasking abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments
• Self-starter who is highly motivated and looking to drive results
• Strong work ethic
