Overview
Taking strategy and GTM direction from the Director of WW Campaigns, the Apps Campaign Manager is responsible forcreating campaign plans, building campaign contentand providing executionguidance to the geo marketing teams- to meet the goals and business requirements of Apps business.
Job Description
This individual will collaborate with all key cross-functional organizations to create the strategic marketing plan (optimally a quarter in advance of deliverable delivery), and assist in the delivery of global campaigns. Job responsibilities include all major aspects of marketing campaign design and delivery:
- Apply understanding of customer data, knowledge of business and input from others to design a program strategy and messaging platform for a campaign
- Analyze customer analytics to drive strategy, propose analytics strategies
- Develop/own campaign scorecard/dashboard and associated metrics/goals/ benchmarks; track/report progress against them
- Develop closed-loop post-analysis for marketing programs and identify indicated actions
- Work with regions, product marketing and others to design high-return multi-touch campaigns to generate awareness, consideration, purchase, preference
- Manage creation of campaign deliverables, ensuring high quality, on time results
- Provide subject matter expertise and messaging input for all key campaign assets including customer facing promotional materials as well as internal content.
- If required, assist in planning and delivering launch campaigns for major solution releases
- As needed, assist with PR/AR on press and analyst materials
- Manage campaign budget each quarter
Education and Experience Required:
. Business Analyst (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marketing or related field; Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred
. 10 years marketing experience, including offering marketing, segment marketing, partner marketing, market research and customer database/ analytics
. Agency, sales and/or channel experience
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of Applications business and its customers a must
- Ability to apply the knowledge of Apps business and its customers to create compelling campaign messaging and overall program strategy
- Experience in creating marketing campaigns forservicesrequired
- 5-7 years marketing experience in high technology field in at least two marketing functional areas: (1) product and (2) corporate marketing. Proven track record of success in successful demand generation and awareness campaigns. Must be able to demonstrate direct measurable results from their influence in the program.
- Experience working with different cultures / countries a plus
- Experience in successfully working with cross functional teams
- Very strong written and oral communication skills
- Must have collaborative work ethic, able to work with regional marketing leads and other groups in planning and execution phases of campaigns
- Must be able to multi-task and stay focused to deliver on commitments on time with high quality product
- Ability to manage advertising/direct marketing/ research vendors
- In-depth understanding of the industry, offering categories and HP offerings/ strategy
