Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Manager will establish objectives and strategies for increasing brand and product awareness, interest and understanding across Lineage Power target audiences for AC/DC front end and DC/DC board mounted power technologies in the communications, computing, storage, industrial and medical industries. Also champions campaigns, programs and practices to drive distribution demand for Lineage Power embedded OEM products – in support of immediate and continued market share and revenue growth.

Manages the development and implementation of the company’s marketing communications programs. Works with Marketing, Sales, and business unit leadership to plan and create strategies, tactics, activities and materials for the purpose of conveying the most positive marketing message to target markets. Oversees the logistics of packaging and distributing marketing materials, and coordinates outsourced marketing activities for public relations and graphics design.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES (Other duties may be assigned)
• Collaborates with corporate marketing to develop and implement marketing communication activities as defined by product and market strategy.
• Collaborates with Product Managers to understand, identify, and fulfill needs for launching new products from introduction to discontinuation, and to sustain communications for existing products.
• Manages all marketing communications projects from conception to completion and serves as the primary liaison between internal clients and Lineage Power’s graphics agency, including but not limited to: accurate communication of projects, work flow/traffic coordination, budget management, management/prioritization of deliverables and providing creative direction. Plans, coordinates and implements outsourced marketing projects in conjunction with the company’s strategic objectives and activities.
• Defines “go to market” strategies and tactics that keep the company’s products top-of-mind with customers and prospects. Ensures that marketing materials position the company and its products for high visibility with customers, partners, trade associations, outside vendors and media audiences
• Develops an annual Marketing Communications plan consisting of (but not limited to) components including: online/search advertising, direct marketing, Web-based seminars and communications, global events and user group meetings, demand generation initiatives, a broad range of collateral materials including corporate literature and product/services brochures, sales promotions, success story programs, packaging design and more.
• Provides coordination and support for co-marketing activities with partners and distribution channels.
• Manages the content of the company’s Web site and Intranet.
• Works with public relations agency to ensure the company is widely and positively represented in industry and vertical market publications
• Creates, distributes and updates marketing collateral and sales tools.
• Selects and manages outside print vendors, including: quote analysis/vendor comparison, quality control, tracking expenses within corporate budget guidelines, generating purchase orders and processing departmental payables.
• Maintains quality control of all department output from online/search advertising, product literature/sales tools, to copywriting, art direction and production.
• Writes promotional copy as necessary for print and Web-based communications for both internal (sales force) and external (customers and prospects) dissemination.
• Manages lead generation programs, online webinar programs, tradeshows/events, customer advisory councils, sales meetings, user groups and customer visits.
• Manages relationships with PR and graphics agencies or other related freelancers, consultants and vendors. Involved in creative and strategy sessions with outside agencies.
• Controls and promotes the company’s Customer Reference & Testimonial Incentive Program.
• Interviews customers for the creation of written/video testimonials and press releases; develops written customer testimonials and internal case studies.
• Brand advocacy – day-to-day responsibilities of managing brand development and executions/applications, both internally and externally.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelors Degree in Business, English or Marketing with 1-5 years related industry experience in Marketing Communications. Advanced degree in Business or Marketing desirable.
• High level of proficiency across all Microsoft Office applications required. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and other graphical art applications desired.
• Demonstrated achievement in the production of high-quality communications and marketing materials is required. Excellent knowledge of public relations and communications principles and practices.
• Strong project management, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills, positive customer service attitude and exceptional interpersonal skills are essential. Enthusiastic team-player with the ability to lead, manage and coach.
• Unmatched ability to extract valuable information from a broad range of internal clients and translate it into useful marketing communications objectives, strategies and tactics.
• Experience in trade show and event marketing planning and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of print and Web-based production, techniques and timelines.
• Working knowledge of Web-based communications and related on-line methodologies.

OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Demonstrated ability to work with and understand personnel at all levels within the company as well as with external key stakeholders.
• Demonstrated achievement of objectives within deadlines with a minimum of supervision. Considerable stress may occur.
• Must be willing to travel if necessary.
