DealTaker, a leading online coupon and deal site, is looking for a marketing assistant to support the director of marketing. DealTaker is a growing business and continues to make great strides with development of its programs.

The marketing assistant will assist in marketing administrative roles that include (but not limited to): making copies, file, preparing binders, and preparing expense reports.

Further duties include: assist with gathering reporting data and formatting into formal documents / spreadsheets, providing marketing channel support for email marketing, online marketing, and competitive intelligence. The marketing assistant will also assist in scheduling meetings, both internal and external, whenever called upon. *HJ

The role will be responsible for all administrative staff support necessary for an efficient and effective Marketing department. Individual will manage and oversee a curriculum of training programs, select delivery systems, and track results of all marketing campaigns.

Job Requirements

Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years experience in a marketing, communications, and/or sales department. The ability to design and manage an internal marketing web page and the experience in using the following tracking & training tools is required: Meetings To Go, Webinars, Net Meeting and Survey Monkey. The Marketing Coordinator must be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a high proficiency in designing PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets and Word documents. Individual will have excellent communication, creative and motivational writing skills for Marketing newsletters, collateral and brochures. Experience in conference planning is strongly desired.
