Responsibilities include:
Assist the Regional Field team in the tactical implementation of all Marketing
activities centered on the Professional Painter / Specifier.
Successful implementation of all corporate activities into the Region
Development and execution of all regional promotions and events, and will manage
the regional marketing funds that deliver these activities.
Be the conduit between the Regional team and Corporate Marketing to ensure that
the regional needs around product and services are fully understood and
delivered
Assists marketing and sales teams with the implementation of activities/programs
to meet the needs of the end user following the AkzoNobel Strategic Plan
Proactively identify additional tactical opportunities that drive sales and
margin
While this role is highly executional in nature, this position is also expected
to bring value to each project and influence the marketing activity under their
control and take full responsibility for completion of agreed upon tasks and
projects.

Minimum Qualifications/ Required Skills & Capabilities
4 year degree Business/Marketing
Relevant experience with the professional Painter / Specifier is an asset
3 Years experience in B to B marketing, sales experience an asset
Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen and grasp the
needs/deliverables of a given project
Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel
Ability to effectively influence and work cross functionally with AkzoNobel
marketing and sales teams
A good understanding of the end user and how targeted promotions and events to
that end user can positively impact sales trends
Effective presentation and persuasion skills
Creative problem solving skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Exceptional project management skill
Ability to train internal teams and facilitate focus groups of end-users
Able to multi task in a fast paced environment delivering flawless execution of
tactical plans

The Personal Lines Operating Unit of Hallmark Financial Services, Inc. (NASDQ: HALL) currently produces business in 18 states operating and marketed as Hallmark Insurance Company. What is the compensation?

The total compensation for the Marketing Director position will fall within a range of $70,000 to $90,000 and have a significant bonus opportunity and excellent benefits.

What are the responsibilities of the position?

• Manage the process of recruitment, development and maintenance of agency relationships
• Monitor performance of the programs and marketplace activity and report results
• Maintain optimal marketing resource levels consistent with the targeted service level framework
• Work closely with product management and compliance functions
• Direct and monitor Marketing personnel activity including, but not limited to, planning, scheduling, routing, monitoring, advising and facilitating in the efficient deployment of resources
• Improve and expand the channels and methods of communications between agents, marketing resources and other Company personnel
• Manage Company internal and external marketing communication activities
