They are also called upon to fill open permanent positions in marketing and communications within our clients’ organizations.

We seek mid-to senior-level marketing professionals from corporate and/or agency backgrounds with seven or more years of marketing experience. We offer a wide variety of opportunities which change on a daily basis.

The optimum candidate is someone who is available to work full-time (typically 35-40 hours per week, sometimes more), on-site at a client location in Dallas, TX.

POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Division Marketing Director is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of a cohesive and multi-faceted marketing strategy that strengthens the Courts & Justice division’s position as the market leader, and positions its family of products as best-of-breed technology. This position is also responsible for ensuring this division strategy reflects Tyler’s overall corporate brand image and identity in the marketplace.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

• Develop and execute multi-faceted marketing strategy that includes lead generation initiatives and sales collateral, trade advertising, media relations, events marketing, and divisional communications • Ensure that evaluation systems are in place to report on progress in achieving overall marketing goals and measuring ROI on marketing dollars invested • Act as senior consultant and advisor to division leadership team for all marketing and communications initiatives; ensure alignment with corporate vision and initiatives • Facilitate open communication with division leaders to ensure marketing priorities align with and support business goals • Develop divisional key messages to ensure consistency across all marketing and communications materials, and across all audiences (prospects, clients, employees, media, etc.) • Act as division spokesperson for media inquiries and PR opportunities

Requirements
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL SKILLS
• Bachelor’s degree required • At least 10 years professional business experience in a marketing or marcom role • Experience managing multi-faceted marketing and communications programs • Product or division marketing experience a plus (versus corporate roles) • Excellent project management and organization skills • Excellent communication skills • Writing and editing – must be a core competence

MARCOM SPECIALIST

Northwood Club, an exclusive members-only private country club located in north Dallas has an immediate need for a Communications Specialist. The Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies and initiatives to support the overall business strategy and goals, as well as, promote the club’s vision and values. This person will help build our membership base by creating marketing and advertising strategies in conjunction with the Membership Director and General Manager. The incumbent works in partnership with our members, employees and management to develop and implement marketing communication strategies which support the club’s growth objectives consistent with our club brand. The scope of responsibility spans both internally focused communications and externally directed communications.

Job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Corporate Communications

Develop and implement appropriate delivery channels for internal and external communications and information-sharing, including company website, newsletter, master calendar and other types of effective and efficient communication tools.
Develop and write content for member communications, including “news and announcements” stories, articles, memos to share information about the club.
Develop communications strategies and implement initiatives to support business objectives, partnering with business units in the development and execution of the strategies.
Support the General Manager, as well as, other Executive Team members in the preparation of both internal and external communications.
Develop and implement corporate communication standards, policies and procedures to ensure consistency in messaging and graphics.
Marketing Communications

Build our membership base by creating marketing and advertising strategies in conjunction with the Membership Director and General Manager.
Develop trade media strategy and implement related initiatives to build brand identity in marketplace.
Partner with business development groups to plan and provide expertise in marketing messaging, content and delivery.
Provide guidance and support in messaging and creative services in the development of sales and marketing collateral to support business objectives.
Strategic Communications

Assist in the development and implementation of internally focused messaging delivered through effective and efficient communication channels to support change management and business transformation initiatives, including culture development.
Assist in the planning and preparation of presentation content and delivery format for club-wide events.
Public Affairs

Develop corporate contribution strategy that is aligned with our company mission and values.
Required Skills:

2 – 5 + years of experience in the communications function, including leadership roles.
Verifiable experience in each of the following functional areas: Corporate Communications, Marketing Communications, Strategic Communications, Public Affairs
Superior verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to write communications clearly, concisely and effectively.
Demonstrated ability to develop communication strategies which support business objectives.
Working knowledge in field of electronic communication, including internet and intranet.
Work involves confidential and sensitive information – discretion is essential.
Strong analytical and organizational skills, detail orientation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to make effective presentations.
