* Bachelor*s Degree in marketing and 5+ years of direct experience in business applications

Key Responsibilities

Develop a vision and a plan to build the team and resources needed to deliver the information-based marketing programs. These include Sales Lead team, CRM team, analytics team, and other internal and/or external agency staffing as needed.

Develop tactical programs and manage the budgets to execute them.
Help translate the department skills and vision across the company to be able to effectively operate and execute programs on an interdepartmental basis.

Develop CRM strategy for the portfolio of brands and within each brand.
Work to ensure that tactical support for the vision is executed effectively across functional alignment through Operational Strategic Initiatives.

Effectively partner with business unit owners to drive the business while serving as a trusted advisor to executive level.

Attend meetings and presentations to facilitate the acceptance of department strategy, roadmaps and capabilities.

Communicate fully and effectively with the CMO; keep the CMO fully informed of progress, issues, and activities and when necessary involve the CMO in problem solving.

Participate annually with CMO on setting department direction, goals, and budget development; quarterly, review performance against annual.

Other responsibilities and key result areas will be assigned as required.

Skills
At least ten years experience in all areas of marketing with four years experience managing a team of marketing professionals of all experience levels.

At least five years experience in business to consumer marketing in retail or financial marketing with hands on experience developing or managing an information-based marketing team such as analysts (ex. modelers), CRM, or direct marketing with extensive experience in direct mail, email, direct response TV or sales leads identification.

At least three years of recent experience using structured CRM programs in a retail or financial business.

Strong understanding of the digital/interactive marketing space.

Clear understanding of the role and ability of marketing analytics to develop successful programs.

Working knowledge of modeling and advance analytical techniques.

Ability to differentiate and support various priorities in various ways, but look for efficiencies across brands/the enterprise.

Proven ability to develop strategy, be creative, and provide analytical direction.
