Marketing Communications Specialist – Design, Web, Video, and SEO

The Marketing Department at Next Level Exchange is looking for a talented individual to join the Web Marketing team. You will use your clean, fresh design skills to create and develop digital marketing solutions for Next Level Exchange, and our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a great design eye – first and foremost – with the ability to deliver impact messages to our B2B audiences in the recruiting, staffing, information technology, financial services, construction and entertainment industries. In addition to design, your skills should include website development, website management, and website SEO optimization.

Your focus will be to design, develop and deliver messages within a comprehensive marketing strategy. Forms of communications including print, PowerPoint, websites, press release, brand messaging, email marketing, search engine marketing, video marketing, and more.

Job Requirements:
Please Bring:
1. Excellent knowledge of digital graphic design practices and procedures including typography, layout, color, depth, usability and file exporting.
2. Exceptional written and communication skills. In-depth experience with MS Office Suite.
3. Strong organizational and interpersonal behavior.
4. The ability to work independently but seek assistance readily when needed.
5. A willingness to work effectively with cross-functional teams and be flexible enough to deal with different technical skill levels, skill sets within a highly dynamic work environment.

Your Experience and Skill Set Should Include:
1. Design: a thorough, working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (RGB, HEX, and CMYK)
2. Web: fast and efficient in using Content Management Systems including Joomla and WordPress
3. Technology: email marketing systems management – lists, messaging, creative and delivery
4. SEO – understanding of organic on-page optimization, meta, PPC, and CMS plugins
5. Social – effective setup, management, optimization and management of social networks
6. Video – video editing, text/graphics/music/voice editing, export and web delivery expertise

Your Responsibilities:
1. Support Marketing campaigns and programs with web strategy creation and execution
2. Manage websites, updates, search marketing and search engine optimization
3. Handle email marketing, social media properties, and SEO
4. Contribute to the development and standardization of design and style elements that reinforce the company’s image and demand generation processes

You Should Also Have:
1. 3+years of web strategy or web operations experience within web services and development platforms
2. The ability to adapt, maintain flexibility and to learn quickly
3. Strong technical, design, and analytical skills
4. A demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding strategy and translating that strategy into practical deliverables
5. Excellent spoken, written and receptive listening skills with the ability to present complex business ideas in a clear and concise fashion
6. Experience working with remote and distributed teams

We are seeking an online marketing professional to develop and manage organic listings, paid advertising, e-mail and communication programs. This is a full-time in-house position which will also guide website content and development in support of the on-line brand. The position reports directly to the business owners and offers a high degree of flexibility in a casual environment. We are seeking candidates with demonstrable working experience with SEO, CPC, social media, HTML, JavaScript, SQL and on-line brand development.

Job Purpose:
Generates revenue by managing the Internet product life cycle from concept approval through end-of-life.

Duties:
